BIO

Growing up in a single-parent home run by her supportive mother, Miss Mid-Michigan USA 2017, Ashley Jones was instilled with the tenants of self-love and striving to be the best you can be. She’s kept those principles with her throughout life and now wants to share them with the rest of the world.

“As a model and pageant girl, I’ve learned the importance of having confidence in yourself,” says Ashley. “You have to know who you are in a room full of beautiful women,” which is what this beauty exudes on and off the stage. Currently, Ashley is pursuing her dream career in the entertainment industry as a commercial model and actress. Ashley’s biggest inspiration in life is to inspire legions of young women and girls to become the best version of themselves possible. Confidence and self-esteem are topics she is greatly passionate about, addressing audiences of over 400+ as a keynote speaker.

Ashley also emphasizes the importance of education, having graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University with a Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management. She commits herself to being a lifelong learner and in her search for more knowledge, she always has at least 10 tabs open on her internet browser. In her free time, Ashley loves to belly dance, volunteer, and play with her Chihuahua/Mini Poodle named Smokey. In the summer of 2016, Ashley raised over $5,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Michigan and looks forward to to giving back to the community with her platform efforts.
